Uttarkashi District Magistrate Prashant Arya said that at present the Yamunotri National Highway (yamunotri national highway status) is damaged at many places. Especially the road near Jangalchatti, Banas and Phoolchatti has been damaged. About 150 meters of road in Jangalchatti was completely destroyed, which is being repaired on a war footing.
