The doors of Yamunotri Dham will close on October 23, 2025, at 12:30 pm on the auspicious occasion of Bhaiya Dooj. On this day, the palanquin of Mother Yamuna, accompanied by her brother Shanidev Maharaj, will depart for Kharsali village, where Mother Yamuna will reside for the winter.
Devotees will be able to visit Mother Yamuna at the Kharsali temple during the winter season.
Gangotri Temple Closing Date 2025
The doors of Gangotri Temple will be closed on October 22, 2025, at 11:36 am on the auspicious occasion of Annakut. Following the closing of the doors, worship and darshan of Mother Ganga will be performed at the Ganga Temple in Mukhba village.
Special Gangotri Aarti and puja rituals are also performed here every year after the closing of the doors.
Kedarnath Temple Closing Date 2025
The doors of Kedarnath Temple will close on October 23, 2025, at 8:30 am on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj. Following the closing of the doors, the Panchmukhi Utsav Doli of Baba Kedarnath will depart for the winter seat, Omkareshwar Temple (Ukhimath).
This three-day Doli Yatra will stop for rest at Rampur, Guptkashi, and Ukhimath, and devotees will be able to visit these places.
Badrinath Temple Closing Date 2025

The Madhyamaheshwar Dham Doli will arrive in Omkareshwar Temple from November 18 to 21, via Gondar, Rakeshwar, and Ukhimath, respectively.
Char Dham Yatra Darshan Statistics 2025
According to the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), despite the disaster, this year the number of pilgrims reached record levels—
Kedarnath Dham: 16,02,420 pilgrims
Badrinath Dham: 14,20,357 pilgrims
