Recognition and Specialty of Rudranath Temple

The special thing about Rudranath temple is that the face form of Lord Shiva is worshiped here. According to religious beliefs, this place is the same place where the face of Lord Shiva appeared, hence it is also called 'Mukh Rudra'. This is the fourth stop (Chaturth Kedar) of Panch Kedar Yatra and it has special reverence among the devotees.
