Adi Kailash Parikrama Run 2025 - Win ₹50 Lakh in Uttarakhand
Nainital News: Uttarakhand is preparing for a historic event to mark the 25th anniversary of its establishment. This year, the state's pride will not be limited to natural beauty and religious tourism, but will also establish a new identity in the world of adventure sports. In this series, the Adi Kailash Parikrama Run, also known as the Ultra Marathon Nainital, is scheduled to be held on November 2, 2025, from Gunji village in Pithoragarh district.
The race will be held at an altitude of 10,300 to 15,000 feet.
This Uttarakhand Ultra Marathon 2025 will be the state's highest-altitude marathon to date. To make the race special, it will be organized as a circumambulation of Mount Adi Kailash. This is why it has been named the "Adi Kailash Parikrama Run." Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has already flagged off the competition, and its official logo has also been launched.
Why is this event special?
Tourism Secretary Dhiraj Garbyal stated that this run will not only promote adventure tourism but also pave the way for social and economic development in border areas.
Local youth will gain new employment opportunities.
The problem of migration will be curbed.
Tourism-related infrastructure will be strengthened.
The Vibrant Village Scheme will also receive a boost.
A golden opportunity for the elderly
A special feature of the Nainital Marathon 2025 is that even people over 60 years of age can participate. Recognizing the enthusiasm of the elderly, the organizers have created a special category for them, making this event even more unique.
Prizes up to 50 lakh rupees
This marathon brings participants not only an adventurous experience but also a golden opportunity to win prizes up to 50 lakh rupees. The online application process will soon be launched so that participants from not only Uttarakhand but the entire country can participate.
