New facility for Chardham Yatra Registration 2025 in Rishikesh, 15 kiosk booths to be set up
This year, the Uttarakhand government has taken several important steps for the convenience of pilgrims regarding Chardham Yatra Registration 2025. Now pilgrims will not need to stand in line to register in Rishikesh, as 15 kiosk booths are being set up in the transit camp. Through these booths, devotees will be able to register online themselves, which will save time and make the system more smooth.
Chardham Yatra Registration 2025: Big facility in Rishikesh
Every year lakhs of devotees reach Uttarakhand for Chardham Yatra. Most of these travelers consider Rishikesh as the starting point of the journey. This is the reason why the government has made special preparations here regarding Chardham Yatra 2025.
Two options for registration: online and offline
This year the process of yatra registration has been divided into two parts:
Online registration
For those pilgrims who want to register themselves through mobile or computer, the online facility is already operational.
Offline registration
Offline registration centers have been started on Rishikesh, Haridwar, Vikasnagar, and other travel routes from 28 April 2025.
Online registration will cover 60 percent of the total number of pilgrims, while 40 percent of the passengers will get the facility of offline registration.
15 kiosk booths to be set up in Rishikesh
The biggest initiative taken under Chardham Yatra Registration 2025 is the establishment of kiosk booths.

Do the online registration process yourself at these booths (Self-Registration Kiosk). This facility is especially beneficial for those who are technically competent and want to save time.
30 offline counters will also be operated
The government has also made extensive arrangements for those passengers who are unable to register themselves or prefer offline registration. A total of 30 offline counters will be set up:

6 counters in ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal)
Government employees will be present at these counters who will help the passengers and make the registration process easier.
Monitoring and guidelines of registration
The preparations for the Chardham Yatra were reviewed by Additional Secretary Tourism Abhishek Ruhela. He inspected the transit camp and ISBT and directed to complete all the preparations by April 25. He was accompanied by Joint Director Tourism Yogendra Gangwar, SP Jaya Baluni, and other officials.
Officials also clarified that the registrations done through kiosks will also be counted in the offline category, so that the daily figures and number of passengers can be estimated correctly.
Security and checking arrangements
Along with Chardham Yatra Registration 2025, special attention has also been given to security arrangements this time.
Checking in Haridwar and Rishikesh
Checking of pilgrims' vehicles will now be done on a random basis.
No unnecessary checking
SP Jaya Baluni said that stopping of passengers without reason will be stopped so that they do not face any inconvenience.
