Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2025: Now 30,000 pilgrims will get accommodation facility, state government has made big arrangements
A big good news has come for the devotees going on Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2025. This time 30,000 pilgrims will be able to stay in Kedarpuri simultaneously. This facility is the result of the collective efforts of the Uttarakhand government, district administration, Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation (GMVN), local youth and security forces.
Till now there was a facility for only 15,000 pilgrims to stay in Kedarnath, but in view of the increasing crowd, this number has been doubled. This will relieve the devotees from the trouble of accommodation during the Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2025 and make their journey more safe and comfortable.
More than 2000 tents, GMVN plans to set up 1000 tents
This year, a large number of tents have been arranged for the stay of devotees during Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2025. With the help of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) and private tent operators, 2,295 tents have been set up so far, which have the capacity to accommodate about 8,000 people.
GMVN has planned to set up 1,000 more tents in the coming days. These tents have been designed in such a way that they remain safe even in adverse weather and emergency situations.
Local youth got employment, service also improved
Along with making the Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2025 well organized, local youth have also been given employment. They have been engaged in setting up tents, looking after them and serving the pilgrims. The prices of tents have been fixed differently based on their facilities:
