There was snow at many places in the climb from Govindghat to Ghangaria and then to Hemkund Sahib, for which special machines and human labor were used to remove it.
Construction of Valley Bridge completed in Govindghat
The construction work of the Valley Bridge located at Govindghat, an important stop of the journey, has also been successfully completed. This bridge will make the movement of devotees safe and easy. Preparations of administration and Gurudwara Trust in final stage
Under the leadership of District Magistrate of Chamoli district Sandeep Tiwari, basic facilities are being strengthened on the Yatra route.
