A day before this, on Wednesday, 65-year-old Ombala Tyagi, who had reached Badrinath Dham with his wife Aabis Tyagi, died of cardiac arrest. Ombala was also standing in line for darshan and suddenly his health deteriorated. The police took him to the nearest health center but the doctors could not save him.
Two devotees died on Tuesday too
On Tuesday, news of the death of two more devotees came to light. One of them was Bhavna Ben, a resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and in the second incident, Santosh Prajapati, a resident of Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, died of cardiac arrest. Both of them were on the Badrinath Yatra and their health deteriorated in difficult weather conditions.
